Sonoma State University B.F.A. Poster
Sonoma State asked me to help them create a poster for the Bachelor of Fine Art Exhibition (featuring graduates of this year's SSU's B.F.A. program) which starts on April 30th 2009. With the help of fellow B.F.A.'r Abelardo Cruz Santiago, this is what we created. This poster was a last minute request, therefor it was completed within a few hours, done in Adobe Illustrator.

This photomontage was created for the purpose of fine arts. I prepped this image in Illustrator/Photoshop to later fabricate it into an etching. I created four different variations of the image to show different looks you can create with photoshop.

Immigrant Crosswalk
Below are the two signs I combined to create my sign. On the left a pedestrian crosswalk sign. On the right, the immigrant crossing sign.
CMYK color separation (Francisco Contreras Topps)
This is an example of color separation in CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black). Together these colors when printed on top of each other (layered) can create a beautifully rich color image.

1959 Topps Francisco Contreras #573 (original, has since been updated)
I was inspired to create this baseball card because of my love for sports and baseball cards collecting, my love for design, and for my family. I created this card using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
I used the original design of the 1959 Topps card based on it's design and year. I created the 'team' logo, name, used his real birth date, height, weight, etc and stories.
