CMYK color separation (Francisco Contreras Topps)
This is an example of color separation in CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black). Together these colors when printed on top of each other (layered) can create a beautifully rich color image.

1959 Topps Francisco Contreras #573 (original, has since been updated)
I was inspired to create this baseball card because of my love for sports and baseball cards collecting, my love for design, and for my family. I created this card using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
I used the original design of the 1959 Topps card based on it's design and year. I created the 'team' logo, name, used his real birth date, height, weight, etc and stories.
